All PSV operators are once again advised to regularise their operations, use designated termini and pick/drop points in terms of Section 196 of the Urban Councils Act, (Chapter 29:15). The commuting public is encouraged to utilise registered & compliant operators to avoid inconveniences. Unregistered/ illegal operators are advised to regularise their operations and acquire necessary permits to provide services. Notices have been issued out concerning public transport operators, routes, terminal points and stops. All vehicles which are found flouting the aforementioned regulations will be subject to towing and clamping, prosecution plus the attendant fines/penalties stipulated in the Council budget.
