The Local Authority received a new fire tender from the Government. The new fire tender has a bigger capacity of 5000 litres and will go along way in reducing the damages due to fires. The new fire tender is fully equipped with ladders, hoses, generators, homaltro equipment among others. The fire team conducted a demonstration before the Plumtree town Councillors showcasing their skills in case of emergencies and the new fire truck will play a greater part in this.
